چکیده
We present a complete comparison of semi-inclusive ${\ensuremath{\nu}}_{\ensuremath{\mu}}\text{\ensuremath{-}}^{12}\mathrm{C}$ cross section measurements by T2K and $\mathrm{MINER}\ensuremath{\nu}\mathrm{A}$ collaborations with the predictions from SuSAv2-MEC model implemented in neutrino-nucleus event generator GENIE an unfactorized approach based on relativistic distorted wave impulse approximation. Results, that include sections as function final muon proton kinematics correlations between both, show agreement data obtained approximation approach, accounts for final-state interactions, matches or improves GENIE-SuSAv2 very forward angles where scaling violations are relevant.

Final-State Interactions and Single-Spin Asymmetries in Semi-Inclusive Deep Inelastic Scattering∗
Recent measurements from the HERMES and SMC collaborations show a remarkably large azimuthal single-spin asymmetries AUL and AUT of the proton in semi-inclusive pion leptoproduction γ∗(q)p → πX. We show that final-state interactions from gluon exchange between the outgoing quark and the target spectator system lead to single-spin asymmetries in deep inelastic lepton-proton scattering at leading...
متن کاملSurprising Results for Nuclear Effects in Neutrino-Nucleus Interactions and the MINERνA Neutrino Nucleus Scattering Program
Nuclear effects of charged current deep inelastic neutrino-iron scattering have been studied in the frame-work of a χ2 analysis of parton distribution functions (PDFs). A set of iron PDFs have been extracted which are then used to compute xB j-dependent and Q2-dependent nuclear correction factors for iron structure functions which are required in global analyses of free nucleon PDFs. Upon compa...
متن کاملInclusive nucleon emission induced by quasi-elastic neutrino-nucleus interactions
The main effort of theoretical studies on neutrino-nucleus reactions at intermediate energies (few hundreds MeV) has been devoted to quasi-elastic (QE) charged-current (CC) reactions. This is due to the fact that water Cerenkov detectors only detect outgoing charged leptons. New experiments such as K2K aim to measure the espectrum of outgoing nucleons produced in neutral currents (NC) in this e...
متن کاملInclusive electron scattering on 3H and 3He with full inclusion of final state interactions.
InClusive electron scattering data on 3He and 3H are analyzed under full treatment of the final state interactions (FSI) using realistic nucleon-nucleon forces. The data are well described. We use two different methods, one where we calculate the pd and ppn breakup contributions separately and another one which is related to the optical theorem for Compton scattering. Both rely on precise solut...
متن کاملNeutrino Nucleus Scattering
The status of the theoretical description of the neutrino-nuclear interaction for low and intermediate energies is reviewed and its results are compared with the existing data. Particular emphasis is on C, the ingredient of liquid scintillator, and on O, the main component of the water Čerenkov detectors. First, I show that the data on the exclusive process populating the ground state of N are ...
